One of my brand new students asked me if I could help him identify why he’s losing some really close sales opportunities. In other words, he was asking for help to finish stronger in the close. His issue he said, which many salesman and saleswomen can empathize with, is he’s heating up a lot of his prospects to a boiling point where the prospects are genuinely on the fences-edge when considering buying right on the spot with him.  His issue he said is he feels he is losing to many of these ‘potential extra sales’ as many of them were falling into the think about it, pray about it, sleep about it category for him.
